Q: It tells me to register, what should I do?

A: The program should direct your browser to the registration page.  Please note that registration is free.  Fill out the form, and an email will be sent to you.  Click the link inside of your email to confirm the registration and it will initiate a download of the DriveGuard.ini file.  Put this file in the same directory as DriveGuard.exe and the program should work.

Q: How do I use the program once it’s loaded?  Nothing is showing up!

A: This program is made so that there’s minimal trace of it running.  By default, it locks the drive automatically when it runs, so don’t be surprised if your drive does not open.  Here are the hotkeys for it:
Eject the drive: Ctrl + Alt + e
Lock the drive: Ctrl + Alt + l
Unlock the drive: Ctrl + Alt + u
Quit the program: Ctrl + Alt + q

Q: I want to change the assigned keys, is this possible?

A: Yes it is.  Inside of the DriveGuard.ini file, you should be able to change the hotkey.  It should be very self explanatory once you have that file opened.  Be sure to rerun the program once you’ve edited the ini file.
