North Korea launches some missiles
If you have not read or hear about it all over the news, North Korea has launched a few missles today. The South Koreans are trying to shake it off and say that it's just normal military drill for the North, but I don't think that's the case. I believe that the South Korean are keeping a close eye on those crazy communists up there. Some sources say that because America is concentrating too much on its elections that the ongoing nuclear talks will not achieve much in the near future.
Isn't this the most annoying thing you've ever heard? So, North Korea does a horrible job running their own country, so they go and create weapons and then attempt to threaten other countries into helping them. The crazy thing is, they're trying to threaten countries stronger than them by stating the fact that they can do damage to a lot of civilians.
Of course, the South Korea's new president, president Lee, is taking a stronger stance in terms of trades and assistance. He indicates that if anything happens, trade between North and South will stop. I like this guy for having the cohonies to take that stance. This is yet another example why capitalism does a much better job in terms of economics than extreme socialism does.
